Alvin E. Roth (lahir 19 Desember 1951) adalah seorang ekonom dan dosen/profesor di Harvard Business School warga negara Amerika Serikat yang terpilih sebagai penerima Penghargaan Nobel dalam bidang Ekonomi tahun 2012 bersama Lloyd S. Shapley untuk hasil karya mereka dalam bidang teori permainan ( game theory) dan desain pemasaran.
