Thomas Lawrence (13. dubna 1769, Bristol – 7. ledna 1830, Londýn) byl anglický malíř, slavný portrétista, představitel romantismu. Die Karriere von Thomas Lawrence begann schon mit 6 Jahren. Sein Vater präsentierte ihn als Wunderkind in seinem Gasthaus „Black Bear“ in Devizes in England, wo der junge Thomas mit Bleistift Porträts der Gäste zeichnete.
