Historie. Původně lotrinský šlechtický rod Mensdorff-Pouilly, kterému byl v Rakousku v roce 1818 přiznán hraběcí stav, koupil panství Nečtiny v roce 1839. Po smrti prvního majitele z tohoto rodu Emanuela Mensdorff-Pouilly (1777–1852) přešly Nečtiny v roce 1852 na jeho syna Alfonse Friedricha Mensdorff-Pouilly (1810–1894), který si je zvolil jako své hlavní sídlo.
