7 de abr. de 1993 · 'Indecent Proposal' is a film that takes itself too seriously, which is a surprise given its ludicrous plot. It could've worked better as a comedy. Anyway, while viewing I was expecting/hoping for a moment of true drama that would set things alight, but it just waltzes through its 117 minute run time with little surprise and interest.
Indecent Proposal. An idyllic marriage is thrown into turmoil when a wealthy financier offers a million dollars to a couple if the wife agrees to spend just one night with him. An intriguing look at love and the things money can and cannot buy. The price before discount is the median price for the last 90 days.

Like " Pretty Woman ," a movie it resembles in subtle ways, "Indecent Proposal" is a fantasy about characters who are allowed to try out amorality and see if they like it. The screenplay is a cleverly contrived mechanism inspired by that old joke with the punch line, "We've already established that. Now we're talking price."
