Gwladus Ddu. Died: 1251. Father: Llywelyn Fawr ap Iorwerth, Prince of Gwynedd. Mother: Joan of England. (Some sources place Tangwystyl Goch as Gwladus' mother but recent work by Douglas Richardson has convinced me that Gwladus was Llywelyn and Joan's legitimate daughter. Niw yw'r ffynonellau'n cytuno ynglŷn â chyfreithlondeb Gwladus fel merch Llywelyn gan ei wraig Siwan. Yn ôl rhai ffynonellau roedd hi'n ferch perth a llwyn gan Tangwystl Goch.
Gwladus Ddu, ("Gwladus the Dark Eyes"), full name Gwladus ferch Llywelyn (died 1251) was a Welsh noblewoman who was a daughter of Llywelyn the Great of Gwynedd and Joan Plantagenet, a daughter of John, King of England. She married two Marcher lords.
