Joey Dee & the Starliters was een populaire Amerikaanse band uit de vroege jaren 1960. De band is vooral bekend om hun miljoenenseller Peppermint Twist (1961). De meest opvallende bezetting van de band bestond uit Joey Dee, David Brigati, Larry Vernieri (zang), Carlton Lattimore (orgel), Sam Taylor (gitaar) en Willie Davis (drums).
13 de sept. de 2014 · I also was impressed with the mixing of Peppermint Part 1 and Part 2. So why only 4 starts, well there is so much that I wish was released on a quality CD like the albums Joey Dee, All the World is Twistin', and Dance, Dance, Dance. This CD is not for everyone; however, if you enjoyed Joey Dee, this one is hard to beat.

Joey Dee (* 11. Juni 1940 in Passaic, New Jersey; eigentlich Joseph DiNicola) gründete die Band 1958.
