Whether it be premiere golden age scores that can still be found in the vaults or Kickstarter projects, I am here to do my part in purchasing or contributing funds for such ventures by the remaining labels like Intrada.

Tiomkin supports with a torrent of violence as Midge fights valiantly but is eventually overcome and pinned against the ropes. “A Sock to Remember” opens with the sound of police sirens.

Composer Dimitri Tiomkin was famous for his westerns, including such classics as High Noon, Gunfight at the OK Corral, Red River and Rio Bravo. Until now, very little of his score to Night Passage has been released.
26 de may. de 2024 · Dimitri Tiomkin (1894-1979) was Ukrainian by birth and trained in Russia and Berlin, before moving eventually to Hollywood where he was best known for his scores for Western films, including work with the directors Frank Capra, Fred Zinnemann, and Alfred Hitchcock amongst others.
