Acceptance's Phantoms was an under-appreciated album when it first came out in 2005 - there's no doubt about that. Years later, pop-rock / pop-punk fans look back on the album with an adoring fervor, treasuring vocalist Jason Vena's lyricism and the catchy, well-thought-out melodies present in the musicianship.
Acceptance (Phantoms) Emo Pop. Not sure if this was ever actually Emo. But I always considered it as such. One of my most favorite and cherished albums of all time. They broke up soon after which ended up making this album all the more special. And they did reform about 5 years ago. But its nothing like Phantoms.
