Katharina von Brandenburg-Küstrin was born 10 August 1549 in Küstrin to Johann von Brandenburg-Küstrin (1513-1571) and Katharina von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel (1518-1574) and died 10 October 1602 Berlin of unspecified causes. She married Joachim III. Frederick von Brandenburg (1546-1608) 8 January 1570 JL in Küstrin.
Elizabeth was the elder of two daughters of Margrave John of Brandenburg-Küstrin (1513–1571) from his marriage to Catherine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1518–1574), daughter of the Duke Henry V of Brunswick-Lüneburg . On 26 December 1558 Elisabeth married Margrave George Frederick I of Brandenburg-Ansbach-Kulmbach (1539–1603) in Küstrin.
