  1. 1 de oct. de 2008 · Thornyhold had the same lyrical descriptions of the countryside that captivated me in Nine Coaches Waiting but it was severely let down by the plot. I got the strong impression that she really just wanted to write a nice, wholesome story about a woman living in a picturesque cottage in the country, pottering about in the garden with her pets and falling in love with her handsome neighbor.
