Vakhtang VI had his own coat of arms from 1726 - 1737. In 1735, Vakhushti Batonishvili, the son of Vakhtang VI, drew up an important map of the Caucasus. Within this map are the coat of arms of the countries and regions that appear on it, including those of the Bagrationi family.

8 de ago. de 2023 · Vakhtang was the first Georgian ruler of the Mukhranian branch of the house of Bagrationi, and succeeded his cousin, David, as the Lord of Mukhrani (Mukhranbatoni) in 1629. He was adopted, in 1653, by the childless ruler of Kartli, Rostom Khan, [ Prince Rostam Khan of Kartli Mukhran-Bagratoni] as his heir and successor to the throne.

Kingdom of Tao-Klarjeti (“Tao-Klarjetis Samepo”) (809-888) Ashot I the Great (also known as Ashot I Kurapalate) was the first Bagrationi to become a king, founding the royal dynasty in 809. He ruled the kingdom of Tao-Klarjeti and dead in 826, in Doliskana. His father was Adarnase Bagrationi (Eristavteristavi (Grand Duke) of Klarjeti).
