Princess Margarita's personal papers (including family correspondence and photographs) are preserved in the Hohenlohe-Langenburg family archive (Nachlass Fürstin Margarita, HZAN La 148), which is in the Hohenlohe Central Archive (Hohenlohe-Zentralarchiv Neuenstein) in Neuenstein Castle in the town of Neuenstein, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
14 de jul. de 2022 · Princess Marie Louise of Hanover received a Turquoise Tiara from her aunt, Princess Marie of Hanover, as a Wedding Gift when she married Prince Max of Baden in 1900. The Tiara was not publicly photographed until it was worn by their granddaughter, Princess Margarita of Baden, at the Coronation of her aunt, Queen Elizabeth II, in 1953.

She was known as Nurse von Baden. Margarita and two of her cousins, Princess Christina of Hesse and Princess Beatrix of Hohenlohe-Langenburg remained in London in the mid-1950s.
