A Hollywood filmmaker (Mike Jittlov) makes a short for an evil film studio. Unbeknownst to him, the producer has placed a bet of $25,000 that he won't come up with anything with a use. Luckily, our film creator gets the help of his friends.
In the original short film, a young man in a green wizard costume runs throughout America at super speed, much like the superhero The Flash. Along the way, he gives a pretty girl a swift lift to another city, gives golden stars to other women who want a trip themselves. He then slips on a banana peel and comically crashes into a film stage, which he then brings to life in magical ways.
21 de ene. de 2011 · The Wizard of Speed and Time developed a small cult on video, although Mike Jittlov has failed to produce anything or appear in any other work since. One would have thought that the 1990s growth of effects houses and technology might have found a welcoming place for Jittlov’s love of effects.

This is, if I recall correctly, the first version released by The Bearded Swordsman aka Will Hart, converted from Laserdisc. Will Hart appears in the film, here and there, complete with beard and sword (ok, with the sword only in one or two places).
