Ashley Soan is a British drummer. His influences include Stewart Copeland, Steve Ferrone, Jim Keltner, James Gadson, Phil Rudd, Art Blakey, Steve Gadd.
Leadbelly Fest | 2015. Drums in the house band for Leadbelly Fest 2015 at the Royal Albert Hall. Featured artists included Van Morrison, Jools Holland, Eric Burdon and Ruby Turner. My live experience includes performing at Woodstock ‘94, supporting The Rolling Stones, REM, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Oasis and Bryan Adams.

We caught up with Ash to talk about his day-to-day as a self-recording drummer, social media, and of course, his brand new signature snare.
Ashley Soan first played with Del Amitri at Woodstock 1994, and permanently joined the band after the recording of Twisted in 1995, leaving soon after the recording of Some Other Sucker’s Parade, in 1997.
