2 de may. de 2024 · When Duke Philipp Albrecht died in 1975 Carl became the head of the royal family of Württemberg and chef of the Hofkammer des Hauses Württemberg. The Hofkammer manages around 5.500 hectares of forest, around 2,000 hectars of meadows and fields, and fifty hectares of veinyards, not only in Germany but also aborad.

Albrecht, Duke and Crown Prince of Württemberg (Albrecht Maria Alexander Philipp Joseph; 23 December 1865 – 31 October 1939) was the last heir presumptive to the Kingdom of Württemberg, a German military commander of World War I, and the head of the House of Württemberg from 1921 to his death.
Deposed by the count of Urach, who reunited both halves of the county, he later achieved sovereignty over the whole Württemberg as Duke Eberhard II. But he soon ran into trouble with the nobility, who disempowered him, working in close collaboration with Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor .

He was Count of Württemberg-Stuttgart from 1480 to 1496 as Eberhard VI, then Duke of Württemberg from 1496 to June 1498 as Eberhard II.
The Duchy of Württemberg was formed when, at the Diet of Worms, 21 July 1495, Maximilian I, King of the Romans and Holy Roman Emperor, declared the Count of Württemberg (German: Graf von Württemberg), Eberhard V "the Bearded," Duke of Württemberg (German: Herzog von Württemberg). This would be the last elevation to dukedom of the Medieval era.
Duke Maximilian of Württemberg was a member and Duke of the royal house of Württemberg.
Duke Charles-Eugen of Württemberg (8 April 1875 – 11 November 1875); died young. Duchess Elsa of Württemberg (1 March 1876 – 27 May 1936); married Prince Albrecht of Schaumburg-Lippe (24 October 1869 – 25 December 1942). They had four children: Prince Maximilian of Schaumburg-Lippe (28 March 1898 – 4 February 1974)
