  5. Admissions. Admissions. Thank you for your interest in The Marlborough C of E School. The Marlborough School in an academy which is part of The River Learning Trust, as such it is it's own admissions authority. The River Learning Trust has delegated the responsibility for admissions arrangements to the Local Authority for Year Groups 7-11.

  6. The Marlborough Church of England School is a semi-rural 11-18 comprehensive and co-educational school which has been part of the River Learning Trust(RLT) since 2018. Our school is popular and over-subscribed. There are currently 1053 pupils on roll, including 156 pupils in the Sixth Form and 25 pupils in our SENSS Resource base.

The headline data is that 42% of all grades achieved at Marlborough are A* or A, which is in line with the grades achieved in 2020 (40%) and 2021 (46%), when pupils’ grades were determined from teacher assessment.
