Through interdisciplinary studies we collaborate with diverse GW departments, work on adaptive reuse projects positioned within historic contexts in DC, and on projects that highlight the global vision of the university.

At the Corcoran School, the Flagg Building is one of our homes on campus. The Beaux Arts building on 17th Street, three blocks from the original Renwick gallery, dates back to 1897. The first phase of renovations to the historic Flagg Building were completed in the spring of 2018.
The Corcoran School challenges students to investigate how art functions as a form of creative and intellectual inquiry.
