16 de oct. de 2023 · Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) was a Danish nobleman who made the most significant contribution to our knowledge of astronomy before the telescope arrived. He discovered a supernova, observed the elliptical interplanetary orbit of a comet, updated the accuracy of the calendar, and proposed a whole new theory of the positions of the heavenly bodies in the night sky.
Tycho Brahe foi um importante astrônomo e cientista dinamarquês do século XVI, conhecido por suas contribuições significativas para a astronomia. Nascido em 14 de dezembro de 1546 em Scania, na Dinamarca (atual Suécia), Tycho Brahe foi educado em universidades na Alemanha e na Dinamarca, onde estudou matemática, astronomia e astrologia.
