Donna Reed (as Eleanor Southworth Ewing ‘Miss Ellie’) In 1985, Reed filmed three episodes of “The Love Boat,” starring a former movie star who reunites with her old co-star (played by Robert Sterling) on a cruise ship. These episodes aired posthumously in February 1986 and marked Reed’s last appearance on television.

16 de ene. de 2023 · In mid-1985, Donna Reed went to the hospital with ulcers. Doctors found a malignant tumor in her pancreas, per the Los Angeles Times. Then, that December, she was admitted to the hospital again, this time Cedars Sinai Medical Center, for bleeding ulcers. Reed was only 64 years old at that point.
