Victor Feldman was born in Edgware in April 1934. He was a child prodigy playing drums professionally from the age of seven and quickly became a multi-instrumentalist playing piano (from the age of nine), vibes (from the age of fourteen), drums and percussion as well as composing and arranging for his bigger ensembles.
