William Borah moved west and settled in Boise, Idaho in 1890 where he soon became one of the leading lawyers in the state. Borah possessed a remarkable ability to sway jurors with his oratory, as he would in the United States Senate. Bill Borah would also participate in some of the most famous, if not notorious, legal cases in Idaho.
