Cumnor Parish Record - Amy Robsart. On June 5th, 1550, Amy Robsart married Robert Dudley at the royal palace of Sheen at Richmond, near London. Amy was about 18. It was a grand occasion, attended by the young king Edward VI. Robert Dudley was a younger son of John Dudley, the Duke of Northumberland.
