Henry VII and Elizabeth of York had seven children together, four of whom lived passed infancy, three of whom survived to adulthood: Arthur – 19th September, 1486 – 2nd April, 1502. Margaret – 28th November, 1489 – 18th October, 1541. Henry VIII – 28th June, 1491 – 28th January, 1547.
Lady Mary Plantagenet. English Royalty. Born the second daughter of Edward IV, King of England and Elizabeth Woodville at Windsor Castle. She was invested as a Lady Companion, Order of the Garter in 1480. She died at age 14 at Greenwich Palace, Greenwich, London. Mary was also known as Princess Mary of York.
Queen Mary was the daughter of Francis, Prince and Duke of Teck, and Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, granddaughter of George III. She married King George V in 1893 and they had six children. Queen Mary's early life was not particularly princess-like. Her family was minor royalty and not as wealthy as might be expected.
After Victoria's death in January 1901, Mary was known as Princess Mary of Cornwall and York, until her father's creation as Prince of Wales in November of that year, when she assumed the title "Princess Mary of Wales". Upon her father's accession as George V in 1910, Mary assumed the style of "Her Royal Highness The Princess Mary".

Raised and educated together, the princesses were accustomed to frequent relocations between royal residences and participated in court festivities and state visits.
