Louis, Duke of Joyeuse. Louis, Duke of Joyeuse (January 11, 1622 – September 27, 1654, Paris) was a younger son of Charles, Duke of Guise and Henriette Catherine de Joyeuse. He was appointed Grand Chamberlain of France in 1644. Known at first as the "Chevalier de Guise", he succeeded his mother as Duke of Joyeuse in 1647.
