Married to count Fulk IV of Anjou, she was carried off in 1092 by king Philippe I of France, who married her (illegally, as she was still married to Fulk).

She became the fifth wife of Fulk IV of Anjou in 1089 and gave birth to a boy, who was named Fulk after his father. She later left her husband to live at the court of the King of France.
