11 de sept. de 2019 · The symbol that is used in the Paulo Coelho & Christina Oiticica Charitable Foundation logo was originally designed by Christina Oiticica in the late Seventies. It became widely known as the Warrior of Light symbol, ever since Paulo started using it on his official website and in his works as a representation of the Warrior of Light.
Brazilian artist Christina Oiticica was born in Rio de Janeiro, on November 23rd 1951. She lived in Rio de Janeiro until 2003 when, after many trips to Europe, she decided to divide her time between the Pyrenees mountain in south-western France and Rio de Janeiro. In France, Christina’s work developed to become a partnership with nature.

The collection of paintings was buried in a performance on August 18, 2022, in Monthey, Switzerland. En 1996, Paulo Coelho también fundó junto a su esposa Christina Oiticica, el “Instituto Paulo Coelho” con el que brindan ayuda y oportunidades a niños y ancianos brasileros. Para el 14 de febrero del año 2000, presentó “Verónika decide morir”, una novela sobre la locura, la cual vendió en Brasil 1,5 millones de ejemplares.
