Pablo Picasso nació el 25 de octubre de 1881, en el número 36 de la Plaza de Riego de Málaga. Familia Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz Picasso fue el hijo mayor de José Ruiz Blasco, quien era profesor en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la ciudad, y de María Picasso López.
Picasso, Pablo Ruiz. (Málaga, 1881-Mas Notre-Dame-de-Vie, Mougins, 1973). Artista español. Director del Museo del Prado de 1936 a 1939. Hijo de José Ruiz Blasco, profesor de dibujo de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Málaga, y de María Picasso López. En 1891 la familia se traslada a La Coruña, y pocos años después, en 1895, a Barcelona.
