He was made Baron Harewood, of Harewood in the County of York on 9 July 1790, but died childless and the title became extinct. The fortune passed to his cousin Edward Lascelles (1740–1820), 1st Earl of Harewood. Marriages. He was first married to Elizabeth Dawes, daughter of Sir Darcy Dawes, 4th Baronet, on 5 January 1746–47.
Henry George Charles Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood (9 September 1882 – 24 May 1947), known by the courtesy title of Viscount Lascelles until 1929, was a British soldier and peer. He was the husband of Mary, Princess Royal, and thus a son-in-law of King George V and Queen Mary and a brother-in-law to kings Edward VIII and George VI .
Reverend James Walter Lascelles (1831–1901), Canon of Ripon Cathedral and Rector at Goldsborough, married Emma Clara Miles (1830–1911), daughter of Sir William Miles, 1st Baronet, and had nine children. Lady Susan Charlotte Lascelles (1834–1927), married Edward Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 1st Earl of Wharncliffe, d.s.p.
Edward Harewood Lascelles (1847-1917), pastoralist and businessman, was born on 3 October 1847 in Bothwell, Van Diemen's Land, son of Edwin Lascelles and his wife Eliza, née Nicholas; he was a grandson of T. A. Lascelles. After his mother died he and his sister went to their uncle, C. J. Dennys, a wool broker in Geelong.
