The name refers to its resemblance to the luxurious fungus found underground. Created in the early 1950s by a confectioner’s assistant known as Don Pippo, tartufo was originally made with chocolate and hazelnut ice cream with a chocolate sauce center.

Secondo una riunione del panel UNESCO tenutasi a Parigi il 16 dicembre 2021, la caccia al tartufo italiano è stata inclusa nella lista UNESCO del patrimonio culturale immateriale mondiale. Una grande novità per l’Italia e per questa bellissima tradizione culturale.

Colocamos en la preparación final otra capa de bizcocho y al final esta deliciosa preparación. Llevamos al refrigerador por 20 minutos. Y bañamos nuestro pastel con el ganache.

With the exception of Sicily, Calabria is the furthest south of all the Italian provinces. The weather gets pretty toasty as a result.

Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from the heat, stir in the cocoa powder until a smooth consistency is achieved.
