Reynolds wurde 1966 in Barry im Süden von Wales geboren. Er wuchs in Cornwall auf. Alastair Reynolds began writing his first stories between 1989–1991, while he was still a graduate student. The first four sci-fi stories got published between 1990 and 1992. While working for ESA, he began working on his first full-length novel to become Revelation Space , which would eventually be published in 2000.
2018 and 2019 also saw the first adaptations of my work into different media. An imaginative stage version of “Diamond Dogs” was put on in Chicago over a six week period early in 2018, and I was able to attend two of the performances. in 2019, two of my short stories were adapted as animated films as part of Netflix’s series Love Death ...

Novels. My most recent novel is Eversion, published in the UK and USA in the summer of 2022. Prior to Eversion I wrote Inhibitor Phase, a novel in the Revelation Space universe, which came out in 2021. Before that, I completed the last two novels in the Revenger sequence about the Ness sisters, SHADOW. CAPTAIN (2019) and BONE SILENCE (2020).
