Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, (Leopold George Duncan Albert; 7 April 1853 – 28 March 1884) was the eighth child and youngest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, was the eighth and the youngest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He was born on April 7, 1853, and was quite delicate from a very early age. He suffered from a rare disease, haemophilia. Since this is a hereditary disease, descendants of Queen Victoria suffered from this afterward.
