François IV du Plessis, seigneur de Richelieu, du Chillou, de La Vervolière et de Beçay (1548, Richelieu - 10 juin 1590, Gonesse) est un capitaine français et un grand officier de la couronne du roi Henri III. Il est le père du cardinal de Richelieu.
François du Plessis, sieur de Richelieu (c. 1548 –10 June 1590) was a French noble, military officer, and royal official during the French Wars of Religion. Born into an obscure noble family from Poitou, Richelieu began his career in the service of the Montpensier.

Louis-François-Armand du Plessis, duke de Richelieu was a marshal of France, and grand-nephew of Cardinal de Richelieu. Louis was ambassador to Vienna in 1725 to 1729, and in 1733–34 he served in the Rhine campaign during the War of the Polish Succession.

Louis-François-Armand de Vignerot du Plessis est le quatrième enfant et unique fils de Armand-Jean de Vignerot du Plessis (1629-1715), ancien général des galères (1642-1661), petit-neveu du cardinal de Richelieu (1585-1642) [1], et d'Anne-Marguerite d'Acigné.
