With Austrian resources stretched by the outbreak of the War of the Mantuan Succession, Wallenstein persuaded Ferdinand to agree with relatively lenient terms in the June 1629 Treaty of Lübeck.

Hace 19 horas · Diese sollte die Stadt brauchen, denn schon im Herbst 1625 belagerte der kaiserliche Feldherr Albrecht von Wallenstein die Stadt und stellte Proviant- und Quartierwünsche. Wallenstein zog weiter und gab sich damit zufrieden, die gesamte Göttinger Kuhherde von etwa 1000 Stück Vieh als Beute davon zu führen.
