I'm rewatching Gilmore Girls again, and I'm at the episode where Christopher visits Stars Hollow for the first time, and Emily invites them to dinner, including Christopher's parents. And when Richard and Christopher's dad get into a fight, and Rory sits in the kitchen, and Emily comes and comforts her and says that your existence and your person has never ever been a disappointment.
Is this an unpopular opinion? I just finished watching S7 E10. And I have come to the realization that Lorelai is quite selfish. It always seems to be about what she doesn’t want. And makes everything a big deal. Also it seem like she doesn’t know how to compromise. She’s so set on never leaving her house. I get that’s where Rory grew up.
