Sir Peter Alexander Ustinov CBE FRSA ( / ˈ ( j) uːstɪnɒf / (Y)OO-stin-off; born Peter Alexander Freiherr von Ustinov; 16 April 1921 – 28 March 2004) was a British actor, writer and director. An internationally known raconteur, he was a fixture on television talk shows and lecture circuits for much of his career.

The film received five Oscar nominations, and Mitchum earned the year's National Board of Review award for Best Actor for his performance.
