Hace 7 horas · I think the one character that inspired me and helped me create Sol was Qui-Gon Jinn [played by Liam Neeson in The Phantom Menace]. I wanted to “create” a connection between my character and him. I went wild with my imagination, thinking that since The Acolyte takes place earlier (than the Star Wars movies), maybe Qui-Gon Jinn could have been a Padawan [Jedi apprentice] of Sol.

Hace 7 horas · Jung-jae, sadly and shockingly, underwhelms us. He has apparently taken inspiration from "previous Jedi Masters," particularly Liam Neeson, and it's evident. Squint, you might even catch a glimpse of Neeson in this actor. I am not very familiar with Qui-Gon Jinn, but as soon as Jung-jae came on the screen, I immediately thought of Neeson.
