The series tells of Nancy Botwin ( Mary-Louise Parker ), a widowed mother of two boys ( Hunter Parrish and Alexander Gould ) who begins selling marijuana to support her family.
Andy Botwin. Andrew "Andy" Botwin ( Justin Kirk, leading character)—also known as Bill Sussman in seasons three and seven, and as Randy Newman in season six—is Judah's brother, a fun-loving, irresponsible slacker. After Judah's death, Nancy reluctantly allows Andy to live at the house.
