Sir Anthony Ughtred or Oughtred, Knight banneret [4] [5] ( c. 1478 – 6 October 1534 [2]) was an English soldier and military administrator during the reigns of Henry VII and Henry VIII. Ughtred fought in Ireland, the Anglo Scottish border and both on land and at sea in France.
Elizabeth Seymour ( c. 1518 [5] – 19 March 1568 [3]) was a younger daughter of Sir John Seymour of Wulfhall, Wiltshire and Margery Wentworth. [6] Elizabeth and her sister Jane served in the household of Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII.
25 de jun. de 2016 · In January 1531, Elizabeth married Sir Anthony Ughtred, her first husband. They had a son, Henry (c. 1533) and a daughter born after Sir Anthony died in the fall or winter of 1534.
