Hace 1 día · In Laos, congee is called khao piak, [43] literally "wet rice" ( Lao: ເຂົ້າປຽກ, IPA: [kʰaːo piːək] ). It is cooked with rice and chicken broth or water. The congee is then garnished with fried garlic, scallions and pepper. The dish will sometimes be served with chicken, quail eggs, century eggs or youtiao.
