Although the prolific watch company was born earlier in the late 19th century, it was, in actuality, joined by another two. We know them as Casio and, of course, Citizen.

Byron was the only child of Captain John Byron (known as 'Jack') and his second wife, Catherine Gordon, heiress of the Gight estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
