Was Thomas Jefferson anyone else’s founding father whipping boy? I was raised conservative, but significantly more progressive than my fatherwas raised. As such, I had a pretty rosy colored view of the founding fathers. However, my family (and extended family on my father’s side) almost universally viewed Jefferson as a hypocritical asshole.
