10 de sept. de 2023 · Erik Johansson ( Vaasa ) , born 1470 at Örbyhus Castle , died 8 November 1520 at Stortorget ( executed at the Stockholm massacre ), was a Swedish knight and councilor , mainly known as the father of later King Gustav Vasa . District Chief, Courtier, Knight and Royal Father.
Erik Johansson Vasa (c. 1470 – 8 November 1520) was a Swedish noble and the Lord of Rydboholm Castle in Roslagen. His son would rule as King Gustav I of Sweden from 1523–1560.
Erik Johansson Vasa was born in 1470, in Örbyhus, Uppsala, Sweden as the son of Johan Kristiernsson Vasa and Birgitta Gustafsdotter Sture. He married Cecilia Månsdotter Eka in 1495. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters.
