Edna Best and Nat Wolff settled in Beverly Hills, California and in August 1950 Edna became an American citizen. It is possible that Edna met British romantic novelist Denise Robins in 1935, as there exists a hardback copy of the book 'Slave Woman', dedicated to Edna Best and dated Nov 1935.
