Banana Wind is the twentieth studio album by American popular music singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett. It was released on MCA and Margaritaville Records on June 4, 1996, debuting at number four on the Billboard 200.
Michael Edward Utley (born 1947) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, and musical director for Jimmy Buffett 's Coral Reefer Band . Early life and education. Utley was born in Blytheville in Mississippi County, Arkansas. In 1969, he graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in zoology.
The albums he has featured on are numerous but a very few include Banana Wind, License to Chill, One Particular Harbor, Paddlin’ Out and Volcano by Jimmy Buffett, Love Slave by Marshall Chapman, Mad Music, Back in Town and Maragarita Cafi: Late Night Live by Club Trini, Nice Feelin’ by Rita Coolidge and Playin’ It Cool by Timothy B. Schmit.
