Saskia Boddeke (born 1962) is a Dutch multimedia artist and stage, opera and film-director. Her work incorporates multiple projections, computer programming, virtual environments such as Second Life, and inter-connecting animated audio-visual avatars with live actors.
Saskia Boddeke, born in Castricum, is an innovative Dutch multimedia artist and director. From 1984 Saskia worked at the Netherlands Opera as an assistant director on 48 international opera productions with directors like Dario Fo, Peter Stein and Pierre Audi.

Shifting back and forth between events onstage and behind the scenes, Inside My Heart. blends the magic of an opera and the depth of a documentary. Fact and fiction merge–sometimes also for the actors themselves, who feel the emotions they portray deeply.
