Other spots on King’s Gandhi pilgrimage included the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. His most memorable experience, however, was staying a night at the Mani Bhavan in Bombay, which was Gandhi’s main base between 1917 and 1934.

But, the way of non-violence leads to redemption and the creation of the beloved community. The spirit of Gandhi is very much alive in India today.
