Pernbys målarskola (Pernby School of Painting) is a two-year independent art school with a focus on painting and drawing. The goal of the school is to offer a comprehensive art education as a foundation for further advanced art studies or independent artist careers. All teaching is conducted in swedish.
Pernby's paint school (Swedish: Pernbys målarskola), primarily Otte Skölds målarskola, in Stockholm was founded in 1929 by Otte Sköld (1894–1958) and Åke Pernby (1901–1981). The school was renamed in 1949, when Otte Skölds became head of the Nationalmuseum , and Åke Pernby was in charge as rector.

He first attended the Pernby School of Painting to develop his artistic skills. Furthering his studies, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the esteemed Konstfack University College of Arts.
