John Petty Fitzmaurice, 1st Earl of Shelburne PC (Ire) (1706 – 14 May 1761), known as John FitzMaurice until 1751 and as The Viscount FitzMaurice between 1751 and 1753, was an Anglo-Irish peer and politician. He was the father of William Petty FitzMaurice, Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1782 to 1783.

  3. 26 de abr. de 2022 · John Petty, 1st Earl of Shelburne was born in 1706.2 He was the son of Thomas FitzMaurice, 1st Earl of Kerry and Anne Petty.1 He married Mary FitzMaurice, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. William FitzMaurice and Deborah Brookes, on 16 February 1734.2 He died on 14 May 1761.2 He was buried at Borwood, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2.
