Kidney Stew Is Fine is an album by the American saxophonist/vocalist Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson recorded in France in 1969, and originally released by the French Black & Blue label as Wee Baby Blues, before being re-released by the Delmark label in the United States.

En 1945, Vinson se independizó y formó su propia banda, firmó con Mercury Records y obtuvo un doble éxito en 1947 con su canción Old Maid Boogie, que ocupó un lugar destacado en las listas de R&B, y con la canción que se convertiría en su firma, Kidney Stew Blues.

16 de may. de 2007 · Although he started out exclusively as an alto saxophonist in the ranks of Milt Larkins' band back in the late 1930s, Eddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson was both an accomplished horn player and a blues shouter, more in the manner of Jimmy Witherspoon than Big Joe Turner.
