Sergeant Schwenke (German: Oberwachtmeister Schwenke) is a 1935 German crime drama film directed by Carl Froelich and starring Gustav Fröhlich, Marianne Hoppe and Karl Dannemann. It was made at the former National Studios in Berlin's Tempelhof area which were now controlled by Froelich.

Freiherr von Spiegel nach dem 1933 erschienenen Roman von Hans Joachim von Reitzenstein geschrieben hatte, in seiner eigenen Produktionsfirma Froelich-Film GmbH in Berlin mit Gustav Fröhlich in der Titelrolle realisierte.

The search is now on for Franke, who is found by Wenkstern's former driver, who breaks a few of Franke's ribs in the ensuing struggle. Franke is arrested by Schwenke after a chase and he accuses Schwenke of breaking his ribs in the arrest attempt. Sergeant Schwenke is then suspended for abuse of power during the arrest.

Una romería en su memoria se realizará este viernes 24, luego de dos años sólo materializado de forma virtual, debido a la pandemia. Su trágica pérdida simbolizó también la partida de un ícono de la generación artística que resistió a la dictadura con un cancionero poético y sensible.
